    Posting YouTube Video

As many of you know YouTube is slowly taking over video on the web. This is happening for a few reasons:

    1. It's FREE! - the sites displaying this video do not pay for the bandwidth used or the storage space required to house the video files.
    2. It works - as long as the users have the Flash plugin installed they can see the video and are not required to download any additional codecs
    3. It's easy - as long as your video is under 100MB and less than 10 minutes long, just upload it to your Flickr account and you're done. Flickr handles the conversion to Flash.

With all of that being said, I wanted to facilitate you guys adding YouTube video to your posts. All you have to do now is type the following:

Where ez2wSxAKMg8 is replaced by your YouTube video ID. This ID can be found on the video's YouTube page. For example, if you go to the Chriscross track preview video page on YouTube, you will notice the URL in the address bar of your browser (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez2wSxAKMg8). The last part, after the equal sign, is the video ID.

Below is what will be displayed when done correctly.

    When in doubt, more gas!!!
